After closing a round of funding, this pre-seed company, a B2B & B2C concierge service for time-poor travellers, was in need of professionalisation and strategic guidance towards clear goals in order to secure robust and cost-efficient growth.
What I Did
1. With total control of cash flow and operations, I oversaw a move towards defined OKRs & clear procurement policies, leading to increase value-for-money, a reduction in burn by 25% and increased productivity and focus.
2. Owned production of consolidated financial statements across 5 currencies.
3. Guided the core product’s launch into three additional currency markets to increase the potential audience by 4x.
4. Founded a company subsidiary and flexed to the needs of the business by acting as Exec Director alongside core COO/CCO role requirements.
