Our Business Coaching is for people who are making - or about to make - meaningful decisions about their work. Whenever works best! When you buy a package of Business Coaching sessions, you'll be sent the information on how to book them into your coach's diary. You do this online, via the Pay As You Go COO website, and the calendar on the booking page shows all our availability. You'll need to book the sessions within the timeframe of your package. For example, if you buy the 'Business Coaching Once Per Week' package, you'll have session 'credits' in your account to able to book 4 sessions per 4 week period (which starts from the date that you select during the checkout process). Any session credits left unused at the end of your billing period will disappear and new 'credits' will be added. If you're struggling to find the time to set aside for your sessions or if our calendars aren't matching up, you can message us and we can look at what the best options are for you. With Pay As You Go COO, all Business Coaching takes place online. This is partly done to allow us to charge less for the service (because we don't need to pay for a meeting room or travel anywhere) and partly to make it as easy as possible to slot into your day (you also don't need to travel anywhere!). We use Google Meet for all of the Business Coaching sessions. When you book a session, you'll automatically receive an invitation from your Coach's calendar to yours with the link for the call. Business Coaching that takes place online offers no less value than Coaching done in person; you get the same useful feedback and advice as in-person sessions whilst also getting convenience and flexibility. Each coaching session is tailored to your unique needs, challenges, and goals. The length of time you spend working with your Business Coach will depend on your individual needs and goals. Some clients benefit from short-term Coaching (several months) to address specific challenges, while others prefer a longer-term engagement for continuous support and development. It's hugely important to us that we're always providing value to you and that you feel you're getting what you want out of the Business Coaching relationship. With that in mind, there are no minimum commitment periods outside of a single billing period. You can cancel your subscription at any time if you feel it isn't working for you. Your Coach will send a feedback request at the end of each session so that you can let us know any thoughts you have about the Business Coaching relationship. Alongside that, you can tell us at any time if you want to adjust the way that you're working with your Coach. The effectiveness of Business Coaching can be measured through the goals that you'll set for yourself at the start of your sessions. Less easily definable will be whether or not you're feeling a sense of personal growth, for example that your decision-making has improved, or that you have enhanced leadership skills, but your Coach will work with you to set these definitions and give you a clear view on your development. There's no official definition of 'qualified' in relation to Business Coaching in the UK as it's not a regulated profession. There are various training courses that anyone wanting to be a Business Coach can take and there are organisations that offer membership to Coaching Practitioners that have met certain criteria (usually involving taking an 'approved' training course). Key to our operating model is the belief that success should be available to everyone, regardless of their background, their budget, or the size of their dreams. We've used our years of Operations expertise to automate and streamline as many of our processes as possible so that we only charge for the time it takes to focus on you and/or your business, not on us or our own. Pricing for Business Coaching is based on the hours we spend actively in a session. There are no mark-ups or hidden fees and we don't charge for the elements that are pre-built, like access to the dedicated Slack channel (outside of the fees that Slack set to access the app). We also don't charge for the time it takes to build your Bespoke Asana Project or to answer any messages outside of your sessions. It's a personal choice from us to set prices at this level and based on our input only in sessions, rather than on the value that you'll be getting out of our work because we want to open up success to as many people as possible. For context, there's not a huge amount of transparency in the market around pricing for Business Coaching. A lot of Coaches will only reveal their pricing after a call or will create quotes based on your unique challenges or the stage of the business that you're in. At any stage of a company's growth, it's also relatively common for Business Coaches to ask for equity in recognition of the fact that their feedback and advice is very likely increasing the value of the business. We don't do either of those things. We're upfront about our pricing so that you can make an objective decision about whether you think it's good value for money or not, without having to spend time on a call with us selling at you. If you're interested in a comparison of the price we charge, a very unscientific online search will tell you that Executive Coaches (Business Coaches who, like us, work with Executives) often charge as much as £2,000 an hour for their services. At most, we charge 7.5% of that at £250 an hour (and that price includes VAT) for a single session. We're not personally interested in making large sums of money. We've been in that position and we never found it as rewarding as we find helping people and improving diversity in the startup world to be. The Bespoke Project will lay out all of the steps you both need to take, when you need to take them, and who needs to do what. It's like a mini Strategy map just for your Coaching goals. It keeps you both on track and clear on what needs to happen when. We'll do all the set-up of the Project, assign all the tasks, and set all the deadlines, all you need to do is sign-up for a free Asana account (when we invite you to the Project, you'll get all the information on how to do that). All of the information about you and/or your business that's stored in our Asana is accessible only to you and very very select members of the Pay As You Go COO team. We can fit deadlines into your own availability so that we're building a really achievable Project. Asana can flex really nicely to your normal ways of working. You can set your Asana notifications so that you get an email each time a task is due or is completed or a new piece of information is shared. Following your first Business Coaching session, your Coach can invite you via Slack Connect into the Pay As You Go COO Slack Workspace. You and your Coach will share a dedicated channel through which you can ask them any questions you have outside of your regular sessions. They'll endeavour to answer you within 24 hours, but it's usually much faster than that. When your subscription to Business Coaching ends, the Slack Channel will close. If you need further advice after that date, you can book another Discovery Call to discuss which of our services would be best suited for your particular need.
